We booked a terrace level beach house for the weekend with our two medium sized dogs.
When we arrived we found that the AC wasn't working, it was dirty and there were many dead and live roaches. Needless to say we demanded a refund and starting calling hotels in the area.
We needed a place to stay quickly and that would take our two dogs.
The La quinta Inn turned out to be just that place. The woman who answered the phone was very helpful and made the reservation for us. We weren't sure how long we wanted to stay there so they allowed us to book the weekend with the option of canceling before 11 am (check out) the next day.
It was so clean and well maintained that we stay there for the weekend.
The only reason I gave it a 4 for location is because its about 8 miles from the beach. But if your goal is shopping it's right next to a huge outlet mall!
Would definitely return with our two dogs.
Great location, service and room. The staff was wonderful, very helpful and friendly! The only reason we did not give it 5 was the egg patties for breakfast..reminded my husband of his marine corps days. Maybe try just having some hard boiled eggs.
A safe, comfortable room and area for solo traveler with her dogs. Great staff and very clean. Stayed on way to and from south Florida and was pleased both times. One negative was breakfast and coffee were late and might be better. Very quiet though lots of people with their dogs were there.
A very lovely hotel. Quiet, friendly staff who outline where everything is, and very relaxing. Located off a main street which makes it nice and quiet. Cleanliness is of top priority here. Amenities are a nice addition (pool, jacuzzi).
My husband and I were making long drive from south FL to Ohio and wanted a place to stop along the way. We wanted something that was pet-friendly, close to the highway, clean and safe. We found all this and more. The hotel was in a perfect location right off 95 but just nestled back so it wasn't directly on a main road. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hotel was extremely per friendly as we have 3 dogs but it wasn't to the point where it was loud or ever bothersome. It was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. We didn't take advantage but they have a nice pool area and small work out room. It was only 15 minutes from the historic district which we visited and had a great time. They also serve a pretty decent continental breakfast including OJ and apple juice, coffee, bagels, danishes, cereal, fruit and waffles. Overall this hotel turned out to be perfect for us. We even decided to stay an extra night. Would definitely return!
