A La Quinta traveler |
I have stayed in many amazing top hotels in the world and this hotel ranks up in the top tier! Really a beautiful and clean hotel and amazing service! Great breakfast - variety, the hot food was hot, the cold food is cold.
If you are stuck in a college town during the "Dog Days of Summer" (something mothers who follow their baseball tourney playing kids know a lot about!) this is a great place to stay. Large room and amenities, free breakfast (imagine feeding dozens of teenage boys about to embark on a day's worth of baseball games) Great, friendly staff.... and they EVEN welcome pets! Conveniently located right off the main highway, 5 min from OSU and great college-town restaurants. Our family of 4 (5 if you count our Golden Retriever who went along on this trip) was very comfortable.
We stayed here because it was the top rated hotel in Stillwater on tripadvisor. The staff are excellent and very accommodating. While the property looked pretty newly built, the rooms looked more used. The paint on our door was chipped, the sheets were pilling, and the bathroom while adequately clean wasn't spotless. So... I really hope this is not the best hotel in Stillwater. We will try the Fairfield Inn next month.
First time traveling with our family pet (small dog) and La Quinta (Stillwater) has a pet-friendly policy. Room was great - clean and quiet. Would gladly stay there again. Very friendly and courteous staff. Bed comfortable. Breakfast buffet was okay; but not great.
We reserved this room for my daughter's b-day so she and some of her friends could swim. The front desk was very accommodating and provided us with a large room away from the other guests and near to the pool. The girls loved the breakfast in the morning. We will definitely stay here again.
