Very friendly staff, great breakfast food. Only negative is that the entrance is a little hard to find on the access road. Have stayed here more than once and was always pleased by friendly staff, clean rooms and good food for breakfast.
As always, LaQuinta is pet friendly! Our dogs felt very comfortable and welcome. Room was spacious and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Location was convenient ti Expressway, but not close enough to be disturbed by freeway noise. Staff was helpful and friendly. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
This hotel was exceedingly busy but the staff were friendly and willing to answer questions. Clean hotel. Plenty of pillows and good bed. One downside was not being able to get hot water from the sink tap. There was plenty of hot water from the shower tap. Let the sink tap run longer than logical and never got more than tepid water. With water drought in Texas this is worrisome. Be advised that the coffee in the dining area is maching instant coffee. The coffee pot in the room is a 4 cup but the coffee pack made really weak coffee. The second pot put only 3 cups of water and it was still too weak. This hotel is located only a few miles south of the newish toll road North around Austin. Therefore, this hotel is a good stop over if heading north and wishing to avoid Austin traffic.
This is a new hotel therefore it is very clean and very modern. the front desk staff was exceptionally friendly to us on our arrival. The rates were very high for us this weekend because it was South by Southwest weekend. Apparently they adjust the rates for events that are going on in Austin.
We stayed in a 2 room suite which was seperated by a door. We have stayed in a La Quinta with the same floor plan except this property in Kyle only had one bathroom. The bathroom could be entered through either bedroom. The breakfast was average and the check in was speedy. A short drive to San Marcos or the southside of Austin.
