The rooms were clean and everything in them worked! - from the remote batteries, the fridge, to every light that was supposed to turn on did! Everyone was happy and helpful and did not seem annoyed when someone asked them a question.
The pool was cool, the hot tub hot and towels were brought when asked. Made for a great weekend for our grandkids!
Clean rooms with refrigerator and microwave. Beds were comfortable. Staff is very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Continental breakfast is one of the better ones and varies in hot items served. Quiet area. Convenient location which is close to the freeway, but the geography makes it so that you don't hear the freeway noise. We have family in Pleasanton, but found it much better than staying in the Pleasanton/Dublin area which is much busier, noisier and more expensive. Takes on 15 minutes to get to Pleasanton from this location, but the advantages makes it worth the drive.
When we arrived, the staff was courteous and all, but walking into our room we noticed the room had a bad odor. My wife thought it was really bad, but I thought it smelled more like an overbearing cleaner smell. We changed and went down to the pool area. The jacuzzi did not work and filthy, also the bottom of the pool was filthy. There were small white pellets of chlorine scattered around as if they only just "shocked" the pool. We were able to sleep alright through the night, but noticed a big wet spot in front of the frig. we went down for breakfast and it was ok. When we went back up to the room and opened the door, OMG, the stench was horrible, like dirty diaper or something. We are guessing because the room became hot and the wet carpet. We collected our things and checked out quickly. The front staff didn't seem too concerned about the problems in the room. They speculate the cleaning crew unplugged the frig the day before and it had defrosted all over the carpet. We hadn't even opened the frig during our stay. First and last for this one.
I made a last-minute reservation for my family and our dog because they are dog-friendly. The desk manager was very friendly and offered me a AAA discount which I didn't think of myself. The cost and comfort was very nice! I would gladly visit them again!
The property was lovey and very well kept including the rooms, pool and spa.
Staff was happy to take care of anything we asked for and even went out of their way to "make more" at breakfast for our kids and that means the world to any parent.
Thank you to everyone at this property for a delightful stay in Livermore.
