"A disgrace to La Quinta Hotels"

Let me start out by saying that we highly recommend LQ to family and friends, as it is where we always stay, wherever we are. However, from the moment we stepped foot into this hotel at this particular location,the quality and value just disappointed us more and more. As a hotel, you are not just providing a place to stay, you are proving a home away from home. I think it goes without saying that it should include cleanliness and kindness. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional! Although our room was pretty clean and decent upon arrival, the bathroom door handle was broken off. We had to go to the front desk to reactivate our key cards several times. Each day the room was "cleaned," they never left any clean towels, yet took the used ones. In fact, one of the days, we had just gotten back from the beach and needed to shower and get ready for a formal dinner. It just so happened that the cleaning staff was down the hall. Although we were irritated, we politely walked down the hall and asked them for some fresh towels. She asked us what room we were in, and then replied, I will bring them in just a minute. 45 minutes later, we received our towels and we're nearly late for our engagement.
Needless to say, we will not be staying at this location again. If I were you, I would pay the arm, leg, and other vital body parts to stay somewhere else.
I wasn't even there for 6 hours and out first room wasn't even properly taken care of upon arrival... Then we had to move to another room which had nats and roaches never again will I stay at this hotel again it was disturbing
The front door was hanging off its hinges! The continental breakfast was average at best,
When I stepped out of bed in the evening the carpet was wet next to the bathroom.. Elevator is unbelievably slow!! One positive was the personnel were friendly and helpful. I believe this place should be totally renovated or demolished -- will never return!
We normally start our vacation a day early, and usually stay at La Quinta Inn our first night. This year, our accommodations were disgusting, and the staff couldn't be bothered. We stayed in room 208, and the smell was horrible. The entire room smelled like wet, smelly socks. In addition, we discovered that the floor in front of the refrigerator was soaked, and probably contributed to the smell. As soon as we entered the room, we were hit with the smell. I went down to the front desk, and informed the person in charge, that the room smelled disgusting, and requested to be moved to another room. She informed me there weren't any rooms left. I asked her if she could send someone up to do something about the smell and wet floor, and informed me there wasn't anyone she could send. I told her I couldn't stay in the room the way it was. She said I could leave, but I couldn't get our money back. I informed her it was disgusting and asked her to see for herself. She went to the back, and came back with a large box of arm and hammer baking soda. She instructed me to sprinkle the baking soda on the wet carpet. We emptied the entire box of baking soda on the carpet. It helped a little, but the smell was still there. I called a few nearby hotels, a d couldn't find a room. We ended up staying the night, but made the decision to never stay at a. la Quinta inn again. Their inaction was inexcusable, and will never give them 1 cent of my money, In addition, I will be sure to relay my story to all my friends. La Quinta was usually our first choice when getting a hotel, since. i get a discount thru my company, and we never had any issues before. That has all changed with this last stay.
We came back and they had not cleaned our room at 6pm the staff had left already. the hot water comes and goes. the ac doesnt work in the hallways. grafiti on the elevator...The manager said if we dont like our room we could go somewhere else. I felt like these people were on candid camera but it was no joke. I CUSSED them out. This place is horrible.
