Stayed here one night during the Warrenton/Round Top antiques fair. We normally stay at Holiday Inn Expresses (HIE) although we've never stayed at the one in Brenham. Compared to the typical HIE, this place was like a cheaper, not-as-nice version. I liked the bed and white bed linens, the newness of the property and the cleanliness was fine. Our room had a lounge chair but no ottoman or side table and seemed empty, like they were missing. The shower had very low water pressure, so I had to stand right up against the front shower wall where the water could gently fall on me. I am used to somewhat low water pressure at home but this was much worse. The bathroom was clean. The toilet seat was the wrong size for the toilet and one's legs touched the toilet on one side instead of the seat. Ew! But at least it was clean. The Kleenex wasn't in the built-in holder but just sitting on the back of the potty. The closet had exactly one hanger. The breakfast was all continental except for a waffle machine. I enjoyed the waffles but my husband missed his eggs and bacon. The decor was ok but just not as nice as HIE. Would stay here again if no room available at HIE.

The surrounding area of the hotel is fine. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. The room was ok on cleanliness. The decor is very outdated and the beds uncomfortable with sqeaky matresses. The nights we stayed, the hotel was very quiet which is nice. The breakfast is your standard fare with nothing standing out as above mediocre. The pool area looked clean, but can't say much more because we did not use it. The side door is broken and does not require the key. This could be a security issue. They have internet here, but good luck accessing it. We called the front desk and he basically said that the band width is low in the area and they only get a small bit of it. Therefore I am using my hotspot to write this review and to access the internet. If I were travelling on business and depended in the internet, I would be extremely hot about this. I do not appreciate using my data when it should be a hotel service. Overall, the place is solid average. I would not stay here again nor would I reccomend LaQuinta.

First stay at the hotel. The first level is very spacious and indoor pool is nice. Service was great. Beds were a little firm for my liking and not to keen on the bedding. We had a two queen bed room. Plenty of room. Nice bathroom. My one complaint and why scores werent higher would be cleanliness of room. Chair was stained and carpet. Noticed walls were dirty. Bathroom was clean though. Not a bad visit but not one I would stay at again for full price. Would only stay again if I got in on priceline for half the price. There is a great mexican food place we walked across too and ate at Deny's which is in adjacent parking lot. Plus walmart next door in case u forgot something. All in all, our visit was fine just would not pay full proce again.

I have recently stayed at La Quinta for a longer period of time as I was working in Brenham. This is an excellent cosy little place. Rooms are nicely furnished, clean and tidy - and they have excellent choice of HBO channels. Indoor swimming pool and hot tub are big bonus, too. Hotel offers continental brekkie from 5 A.M. which was quite helpful. All in all - for the price - you will not find a better place to stay in Brenham. And people here are the most helpful.

This is a good, clean hotel on the Hwy around Brenham. The desk clerk was very friendly and was able to divide the bill easily (splitting the cost with a friend). She was able to give the four of us traveling adjoining rooms.Something simple but other motels don't often do.Didn't spend much time in the room ,as this was just a place to lay our heads but what we saw was clean and the beds were comfy.
