"Clean, but showing its age"

Room was good size. Very friendly staff, sufficient free breakfast. Good location as it is close to the freeway and next to the mall. Hotel seemed quite for the most part. Rooms need a refurbishment. They are outdated and beds are not comfortable. Overall not bad if you are looking for a quick one night stay. If they don't start remodeling in a couple years I would then argue it is overpriced, right now I would say it is priced right.
If you stay at this hotel, don't accept a room on the second floor - there are no elevators! If you have luggage, get ready to lug it up stairs that are too narrow for fire code. If you meet someone on the stairs that serve the west wing of the hotel, there is little room for people to pass each other unless your already very friendly with each other; it's impossible if you are carrying luggage. I was challenged hauling the dog kennel up/down the stairway due to it's narrow construction. Additionally, none of the exterior entry doors have automatic openers (except the main lobby doors), so if you're in a wheelchair, forget about easy entry or egress unless you only use the main lobby door. However, there is little parking in the front or the property so if you rely on only the front doors, you're in for additional inconvenience. In the event of a fire in the east wing of the hotel, patrons would be forced out the west wing egress and due to the narrow construction of the hallways, stairways, and exterior exit doors, evacuation would likely result in chaos at the least. To top off all this negativity, the bathroom needed serious maintenance, mainly in the shower where the diverter valve was marginally functional and the tub took 2 hours to drain after taking a normal-length shower.
On the bright side (pun intended), the staff was courteous, the bed was nice, the grounds were very nice if you have a dog, and the room in general was average. The breakfast was disappointing as usual at La Quinta hotels unless you like lots of bread, hard boiled eggs and C-minus coffee.
Considering the price I paid, this hotel is not fairly charging its customers for the amenities it offers.
This is such a nice hotel for the price you pay in Provo . The breakfast area is very nice and the lady who works this area is the
Kindest and most helpful person! I love that the rooms have a mini refrigerator and microwave - it is conviently located - to restaurants and shopping- the mall is right behind the hotel. All around a great value - with great staff
As the previous listings have said, this hotel is showing it's age. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly, there is no elevator, breakfast runs from 6-9:30 only, and to be honest there is a lingering smell of Febreeze - or some other air freshener - in the air. The pool was nice and breakfast mediocre.
Overall, you get what you pay for.
We had a spacious room with excellent facilities. Parking was easy and staff were very helpful. The swimming pool was a good size. Breakfast choice was good; a couple of options ran out and staff were happy to replenish these when requested. Seating for breakfast was fairly limited, even with tables in the corridor, and better use could perhaps be made of the space near reception at this time. Overall a good place to stay, and I would recommend this hotel to others.
