"worst smelling hotel ever"

stayed 3 nights for a park adventure in april.never staying in a laquinta before i figured they seemed nice and was in our price range.we checked into our room and it had a huge fan drying the carpet near the bathroom,i actually thought it was the maid vacuuming the room before we entered.the room smelled moldy and i called to be moved to another room.they moved us 3 doors down.this room as well smelled very moldy similar to many oceanfront economy lodges.not sure if they had a major flood or not but it was horrible.it also appears this hotel was pet friendly as well and the corridors reeked of animal urine.we are pretty easy people as far as pleasing us but this was horrible.the beds were comfy but that was it.watch your step going to denny's dog poop all over the grounds....pick hotel elseware!!!!!

"Love La Quinta's, Hate this one !!!"

This hotel is a joke. first off i book a room for 3 nights for my birthday to enjoy some much needed time away. when i called they made it seemed like it was amazing, from than on i had no problem booking the room. when we arrived from a very long drive, being pregnant and tired i was looking forward to a nice room. as soon as i get there, no elevator !!! which was nuts!.. then as we finally get up stairs, it was very old fashion furniture, wifi didn't work at all and housekeeping comes in and does absolutely nothing. my first 10 minutes there i saw the heat was not working, some guy at the front desk comes up acts like he did something, not heat. I was freezing all night. went down to the desk in the morning and said i would like someone to help with this. he said he could bring up blankets. then on top of that no one ever came. so i went back to the desk pissed and he was trying tell me he couldn't do nothing about it, because :" the heat on the machines are tricky" i said iam paying 300 dollars and change to be uncomfortable . absolutely not ! I ended up leaving early. I never left a hotel early in my life! they do nothing to help you and i wont be staying there even if i was homeless ! !!!

"Not a Good Place to Stay!"

I booked this hotel a month3/27/14 for 4/10, 11 and 12th 2014. Tried to book online but had to call into 800# was told website down. Was told the location I like on Major Blvd. was booked. But he had one on International Drive. I asked if they were comparable and upgraded, was told YES! Non smoking upgraded and was safe and quiet. Upon arrival was surprised no elevator only nasty stairs. The Wi-Fi didn't have a stable connection, but that was the best of the stay. Upon bedtime I discovered the old yellow mattress which became the only thing to lay on because the thin worn sheets had no elastic to hold them on. The blanket was thin and had "cigarette burns" even thought I was threatened with $250 fine for smoking. Seems they could have afforded a new blanket when the last patron paid their fee? Guess not. Next morning I asked the desk clerk if they could help me with this problem. I had no sleep. She sent a man to the room and he "changed out" the mattress. I couldn't tell ANY difference. The Manufactures date it was made 3-05 nine years ago. The sheets and blankets were tossed on the floor and off he went exclaiming housekeeping would be in to make bed. Well I have a Chihuahua that housekeeping won't come near. I wouldn't let the Chihuahua sleep on the bed, no animals were harmed than goodness. I came to Orlando to "do stuff" not wait around for front desk to make huge decisions and call you with them. Arriving back Friday 5ish went to desk and spoke to Manny. Manny did a better job than most. All employees told me, they were booked, they were busy and another popular answer was "I just came on my shift". Manny asked if they offered to move me, NO was just thrown an equally nasty mattress upon asking for a solution in the a.m. Because you know they were "fully" booked now. Even when I expressed I made reservation weeks ago I received the beaver look from all employees. Manny looked for another hotel but it would cost me 107.00 more. The decision was made he would "comp" that night which was Friday and bring me clean linens so I could play maid. I was given sheets but had to beg for a new blanket. When it arrived I was told "she was busy!!!! to back off in so many nasty looks. The next day when I was at a Water Park I got a call from Mickey who offered to move my stuff then upon learning of the Chihuahua backed out. Then said she would comp back that night also. Upon thinking I had not slept two nights and didn't pay two nights seemed fair enough. Well upon checkout I was printed a receipt and noticed I was credited 28 dollars my "free night money" yes your free night still cost you cash. Go figure. I spoke to Mr. I Becerra the assistant GM and he was firm to this agreement. I asked, so your backing out on the original offer? YES, he replied. at that I tried to take the high road and not bash them on the internet. I fill out a lengthy form on their website and upload photo's and the website GLITCHED and wouldn't send my letter. So my recommendation is stay so far away. Thank you!

Very good hotel, excellent stay, great rooms and great location, may include a Jacuzzi, put bigger towels in the pool area, the food could be more diversified. You should not require write 200 characters, one should write that you want to write....
