When we check in at this hotel I love the welcome of them, "patel" welcome us by smile and "saimon" was very helpful, the room was very relaxing and comfortable, toilet, towel, bed, every thing was clean. Home away from home.
Our stay at this establishment was very comfortable. The staff was eager to make your stay welcomed. The kids and I enjoyed how crystal blue and crisp the pool was. The lady that oversees the breakfast was kind and had everything in tip-top shape for the guest. Lastly we were greeted as we left the inn with firm handshake and eye to eye contact from Stanley Graham, the general manager which is not done now a days. It was a true gem staying at La Quinta Inn & Suites, San Antonio Alamodome Area South.
This La Quinta is a well run hotel. Checkin was quick, they have a nice pool and a good breakfast. They have two different buildings for rooms. There are plenty of places to eat which are close to the hotel. As a previous reviewer stated that the entrance is not well marked and in the morning and night there will be a line of cars trying to turn on Military Drive.
Each year I bring of 3 to 4 couples to San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and I have always made this motel our home for a night or two. The facility is clean, comfortable and service is great. The entry point from street is not extremely well identified, but after find it once makes returns a lot easier. They have rules and well denoted and they are there to maintain the facility as a place you want to return to. Have read some unsatisifactory rewiews and the only reason I can think of for having an enjoyable stay is they probably thought the word "NO" didn't apply to them and they were ask to leave the facility. I like it, do more of it! Both thumbs UP.....
The staff at this hotel was great. Check in was a breeze with the manager on duty, Jason. We had a sleepover wtih my daughter and her two friends. When we got to our non smoking room it was such a relief to find it clean. The beds were comfortable and the room's atmosphere was relaxing. I loved the mini fridge/microwave. When we were ready to grab something to eat... Lynette was very helpful with ideas of what was available around the area. I like that there was so much to do and it was so close to downtown. My daughter and her friends were very happy with the variety offered at breakfast. I can easily see going back for the price and can't wait to try the pool next time.
