Stayed one night a the La Quinta Inn in Belton in May. My room on the 3rd floor was big and clean. Like most hotels these days it has a nice flatscreen tv. The free WiFi worked well for my needs. At 6'3" tall I appreciated the higher shower head. There are still some hotels where I have to bend over to wet my bald head in the shower, but this hotel is not one of them. I read a review here where someone actually complained about the vending machines not being on any floor but the first floor. Really? It's only a 3 story hotel. Unless you don't want to be seen in the lobby in your underwear that really shouldn't be an issue. I had the complimentary breakfast the next morning. The eggs were nothing special, but I've had worse. The bacon was good and crisp. The hotel is just off I-35 but you'll have to drive a few miles north to Temple to find a wide variety of places to eat, but it's not a big deal. All in all, I would stay in this hotel again if in the Belton area again.

This hotel stay in Belton, Tx was perfect. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The peace and quiet of the room was amazing. The bed was so very comfortable and had soft sheets, and I slept so soundly. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Texas shaped waffles wered fun to make: fluffy and delicious. The coffee was hot and fresh. The hotel staff were so very friendly and professional. I'm going to stay there again. btw, the steak house next door, Oxbow Steakhouse, gives a 10% discount to hotel guests. The pool was large and the families I saw swim were enjoying themselves. I worked out in the exercise room in quiet. I am very pleased with this hotel.

The staff was great, the rooms were clean and well maintained. and the hotel was immaculate. Everything went as well as I could have hoped. Breakfast was wonderful and they really did a good job to make sure myself and our group was well taken care of.

Room was very clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean. We woke up for the free breakfast and didnt regret it. It was awesome! They had 3 kids of cereal, oatmeal, bagels, donuts, toast, other pastries, waffles, fruit, boiled and scrambled egg, sausage, fruit, green tea, coffee , hot chocolate, water, milk, juice. We also took advantage of the fitness room. It included a treadmill, eliptical machine and stationary bike along with 3 other types of equipment for weights. The only complaint i had was that when you showered if you took too long the water didnt drain properly. If not for that i wouldv given the place a perfect score. Another thing is try to book ahead of time, if we wouldve done that instead of just walking in when we arrived we wouldve saved about $40. We stayed there 04/13/13

If great customers service is something you want then I would avoid this place at all cost... From the moment I checked in I encountered a very rude front desk attend. I nicely asked for a downstairs room since I had 4 teen girls with me for my daughter's birthday. As I didn't want them disturbing any other guest. Well the front desk employee rudely stated that if we had 5 complaints we would be asked to leave, and she also told me my girls better quiet down after 10pm, because the inn had many elderly guest who would need there rest. I understand that there is a need to inform everyone of be considerate of others, but the tone she took with me was entirely unacceptable & unprofessional. I will never stay here again & will advise all family & friends to avoid it at all cost.
