La Quinta Inn, La Porte, Texas is a wonderfully clean and comfortable hotel. It is in a perfect location just outside of Houston and easy to get to. The staff is friendly and courteous and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. Refrigerators and micro waves are in every room.

Our stay was very good and it is easy to get to Royal Purple Raceway for the 3 days that we have tickets. I traveled with my son and a good friend that i've worked with in the past.
Another reason I like this location, it is close to some very good dining places.
Dirty outside doors but much better inside with newer carpet. Good size room with comfy mattress. Old heavy leather chair. Old bathtub (bad!!!) Breakfast OK but located too close to side entrance used by most guests. Few tables.
I loved how close this hotel was to anything. We stayed here for two weeks & the staff treated us like royalty. There was a certain staff member named Dee who helped us in whatever it was we needed. Very charming & sweet man. We slept in a king size bedroom that included a microwave, refrigerator, recling chair, flat screen tv & shower/bathtub. The room service staff were very nice & always kept us "stocked up" & never knocked on the door if we had our privacy sign. My husband worked night shifts so the room could easily be blacked out by the curtains itself. They also have picnic tables, swimming pool, ice machine, washer/dryer, complimentary breakfast & BBQ pit for those of us who were tired of constantly going out to eat.
The Sylvian Beach Pier is beautiful and only 3-5miles & Kemah boardwalk is 8.3miles away along with a restaurant right next to this hotel called Baytown Seafood.
McDonald's, Walmart, Krogers, Denny's & Starbucks were also nearby. Ok so now that I've mentioned EVERYTHING haha you should definitely give this place a try.

Great Stay. Stayed here last year and enjoyed it yet again. Very accommodating, helpful and friendly staff. Stayed for two weeks and not one bad experience. Great meeting space for the business traveler, comfortable, plush bedding nice amenities, convenient and reasonably priced. Big hand to all staff.
