It's value for money. Rooms are clean and the sleep was good. I didn't use TV nor tried the breakfast though , nothing intentional.
Shuttle was free(you tip though) for a distance of less than 5 miles
Internet , however , was not that good with frequent disconnetion. Support tried helping but wasn't much of luck. It's good though for basic internet browsing.
I'd say overall good experience
The rooms where clean but at check in we told them we had a little 5 week old kitten with us and would that stop them from cleaning the room the next day. we were told no, it would be no problem. We got back from my dads funeral with a dirty and unmade bed room. we asked if someone could please come up and clean the room. the maid was very cross and rude to us.. said she would not clean with a cat in the room. Let me say the day we checked in they were very nice and friendly, it was down hill from there. My granddaughter wanted to sleep on the floor that night and asked for a blanket 3 pillows and a sheet you would have thought she asked for the moon. In the end she received 1 blanket 1 pillow and no sheet.. NEVER AGAIN...
My wife and I found this hotel online, and the service and quality of the hotel greatly exceeded our expectations. The girl that checked us in (Aracelia) was fantastic, very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was quiet and our room was very clean and well decorated. We couldn't have asked for a better stay
What a find! A reasonably priced gem in the heart of one of Chicagoland's most desirable destinations! At La Quinta Inn Chicago-Oakbrook Terrace, we experienced a warm welcome and enjoyed our clean, comfortable, well-appointed room. This hotel is minutes away from fabulous shopping and dining. We look forward to returning again soon.
Just stayed here a few days ago and while the price is nice for the area, service and maintainance could be better. Positives: Price, free parking, large parking lot, free continental breakfast. Not-so-Positives: Full size beds in their "Double Rooms" (most hotels are queen size), bathtub looked terrible with several cracks and stains, and parking lot needs paved. But, again, it's one of the lowest cost hotels in Oakbrook/Oak Brook Terrace so if you're looking for just a place to sleep, I say go for it. If looking for a great hotel and can spend a little more, I recommend Residence Inn Oak Brook. It was sold out the night I needed but has super clean rooms, friendly staff, free complete breakfast (not continental), super large parking lot, indoor pool, etc. Wherever you choose to stay, have a great time!
