My family and I stayed at the hotel on the way to Padre Island simply due to its location. The desk clerk who checked us in was very friendly and the most impressive aspect of the hotel. The room however smelled of smoke and could use a good deep cleaning. We did use the free breakfast in the morning (waffles, cereal, bagels and juice) but by 7am the breakfast area was a mess and the floors were sticky, but no one working seemed to care. Overall, the hotel simply served as a stop over for us and we will probably use another location if we pass through again.
Room was clean and orderly. Well lit at night. Did not have the breakfast as we used the discount for Dennys next door. Was able to borrow chairs for the room and then return. Everyone was very friendly and helpful from the reservation, to check in and check out.
Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was helpful and courtesy. The only.issue I experienced was the bath tub felt like it would fall through the floor. It scared me because it was so squishy. So watch out for the second floor rooms.
This hotel has been remodeled recently and the rooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. The lobby is clean and the staff is friendly and courteous. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.
Great location for a weekend of Texas history in Goliad. Quiet inside location and recently renovated rooms were just what I needed after a long day of walking in Texas. Breakfast was a welcome bonus and the friendly staff was on duty and met every guest with a smile. Rare experiences at a great price point.
