A La Quinta traveler |
This hotel has been remodeled recently and the rooms are beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. The lobby is clean and the staff is friendly and courteous. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.
Great location for a weekend of Texas history in Goliad. Quiet inside location and recently renovated rooms were just what I needed after a long day of walking in Texas. Breakfast was a welcome bonus and the friendly staff was on duty and met every guest with a smile. Rare experiences at a great price point.
Pretty. Nice location. Does lack a business office ,which is a bummer because this hotel has a lot of travelers like myself that need access to the amenities of that.Wifi kinda comes and goes, but lately its been fine.No meat at the breakfast offering. Dry cereal , yogurt, fruits and those Texas shapes soggy waffles. But great staff always friendly and helpful a plus Plus, for this area.
If you want peace and quiet ask for a room in back and if you have a traveling pet they'll enjoy the nice grassy area in back , I have relatives in the area and this location if very familiar and easy to get to or get directions to.
Have stayed at this hotel several times over the last two years. Compared to many other LQs this hotel is a $60 a nite hotel that charges $130 a nite due to a lot construction activity in the Victoria area. Rooms Currently undergoing a facelift not remodel. New paint, lampshades and some decor. Still same fixtures & bath mirror. The lobby has been remodeled, but as I told the desk clerk, I don't sleep in the lobby. Rooms do have new AC units, which are far better.
