A La Quinta traveler |
great place, clean, quiet, and great staff. Courtyard is beautiful and inviting to sit and relax, enjoy outdoors. Close to many eating establishments and gamling establishments.
Easy access on and off highways.
Everything about La Quinta Inn was great......definitely a 5 star inn....Very,very clean, staff excellent.....I cannot say anything negative at all about this inn....will definitely stay there on my next trip....
The host was very professional she was the first face we saw when we got there and the last face we saw upon leaving, i ask her did she stay all night she informed me she ususlly wrk the moring shift but she worked for someone that saturaday night of 4/27/13.she made us feel comfortabl.e she was very professional and greeted us with a warm comfort smile i forgot her name she was black female with long hair. very NICE worker. have more like her and u will not have a angry customer. it was a lovely stay very nice and clean..
Clean, comfortable room. Great rate for our room. Pet friendly. Free parking. Average older LaQuinta. Nothing special. Several restaurants and bars near hotel. Nice neighborhood to exercise our pet. Did not utilize breakfast. Casinos near by. Grocery store not too far away.
We stayed at this hotel one night. It was our first time traveling with our two small pets, and we've had good experiences with La Quintas in the past, so we gave this one a shot. This is an old-style motel (several smaller two-story buildings connected with awnings; no elevator that I could find). Check-in was quick and easy. We arrived in the late afternoon, so parking wasn't a problem (the lot did get crowded later that night). Our room was on the second floor quite a way from the vending/ ice machines and the one small grassy spot in the back parking lot where we could walk our dogs. If you stay here, be careful if you walk on the grass--there was quite a bit of dog waste there. It doesn't look like any other pet owners picked up after their dogs.
The room was generally clean (some crumbs and dust under the heat/air unit and around the base of the beds). The vanity area was large, but the room with the tub/ toilet was TINY. My husband had to stand in the tub in order to shut the door. The shower curtain was too short for the tub, and the water pressure left something to be desired. HDTV with a guide feature was nice, and the hotel is in a good location (easy on-off of I-20 and close to restaurants). The bed was nothing to write home about, but the linens were clean. We did not try the breakfast or the outdoor pool. In all, this was adequate for our needs. It is an older property, and in my opinion is a bit overpriced, but it wasn't terrible, and I will still look for La Quintas when I need a place to stay.
