A La Quinta traveler |
Recently stayed at the Schaumberg, Il La Quinta Inn. Everything was exceptional. My husband was there for business and I went with him with our small dog. Everything went smoothly, and the king size bed was sooooooo comfortable. Wish I had one like this at home. Will definitely always stay at this type of Hotel from now on. No guessing on what we will end up with, we will always know with La Quinta.
We came to the area from Michigan to visit and do the tourist things. We stayed 2 nights in a double bed room. The hotel is clean and simple with friendly staff. The shower/toilet area is small and we wished the shower was warmer. The hotel is very close to Legoland Discovery, walk around mall as well as a very large mall a little ways a way. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to do tourist stuff, this place is perfect. As my husband says, "not bad, would stay again"
I haven't stayed in a LaQuinta Inn for several years. We picked this one because it was relatively close to O'Hare International. We were very pleasantly surprised: the price was right, the room was very nice, and the staff very helpful. Our room was very clean, good size, and very comfortable. There are at least four very good or excellent restaurants within easy walking distance, and more only a short drive away. It is close to Woodfield Mall, Whole Foods, Crate and Barrel, etc. I will stay here again.
We stayed one night, it was quiet we had a clean room and nice beds to sleep in. No complaints just had higher expectations. The shower room is very small, there is no microwave, no refrigerator, and continental breakfast is not so continental (slices of waffles, breads, muffins, coffee, hard boiled eggs, and cereal!) We must have been spoiled by Wyndham Wingate's breakfast the last time we stayed in Schaumburg. The dining area is small, that morning we were leaving there were about 20 people in the lobby area and I couldn't even get to the breakfast area and when I was able to get there I just realized there was nothing to eat. But the plus signs are that it's located right next to the mall and a Denny's.
very friendly staff, very clean, everything fresh and clean. All that I would want in a hotel. Location is great with many places to eat and things to do.. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
