A La Quinta traveler |
Very clean room. We only stayed one night slept great. Close to the airport but once in the room never heard any noise I think LaQuinta gives the best rooms for the money and they take my pets with no problem.
Staying at La Quinta for the second year to participate in the Women's USBC Nationals Tournament was a pleasure. It's easy to find right off the freeway and only minutes away from the Reno Convention Center where the event was held. I will be staying there again next year. The room is clean, roomy, comfortable and affordable for me as a senior. Having breakfast available in the morning is such a plus as an amenity and we appreciate the friendliness of the staff.

This was absolutely the worst hotel/motel of the La Quinta chain that we stayed at during our cross country trip. The room wasn't clean, the bathroom had hair stuck to the ceiling over the tub, the room fronted on a parking lot with the front door exiting on to the lot, the breakfast was sub-standard and patrons had to dine standing up due to insufficient seating, and above all the cost was outrageous for what the place offered. It may have been the Memorial Day long weekend but this place was way over priced. Disgraceful gauging!!! Avoid this location when heading for Reno unless you enjoy getting nothing for your dollar.
We have stayed at this property twice now. Both times the rooms were clean and in good working order. The hotel has a "tired" appearance from the outside but do not let that force you to pass it by. Their rates are excellent and the staff goes the extra mile to please. The breakfast for a La Quinta is standard. We have had more choices at some La Quinta's and less at others. Bottom line is that you will find enough to have a decent breakfast before continuing your journey. They have an over the top pet walking area. This is a plus as we travel with our dog. The pool area does not have a Jacuzzi. There is fast food within several blocks and easy on/off the freeway adjacent to the hotel. Also a Denny's 1 block over. All in all for an airport hotel an excellent value for a hotel in the Reno / Sparks NV area. BTW, no freeway or airport noise was ever noticed on either stay!
Paid about £40 for a night after flying into Reno airport. Very good value for money, clean, spacious rooms, comfy beds. Lots of different breakfast choices, and better quality food than many cheap places.
