"Great stay - excellent value"

Nice facility in an excellent location. Sitting next to the interstate, access was very good yet there was mo issue at all with highway noise. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, and staff was very friendly.
I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff as soon as I walked in. I was greeted with a smile. When we needed a shower cap and extra towels they were given to us. The pool was cold and had dead bugs in it. The bed was firm but I got a sore neck because the pillow were too small and too soft. The Breakfast was good the first day with pancakes but the second day there was only toast and bagles. The air conditioner was hard to control and we had to leave in on very cold to cool the room. Otherwise than that it was a very pleasant stay!

staff is freindly plenty of food places close both fast food sit down and delivery right off highway and you don't even hear traffic which makes for a good nites sleep and is a safe and secure parking lot where you don't have to worry about your car or yourself.
Human hair on floor, dead lizard in room, filthy vents, rude front desk. Complained to front desk and they said they would clean it, but never did. Given 3 towels for 4 people, 1 wash cloth and when i called to ask for more towels, they told me to come get them. DONT EVER STAY HERE....
BLUF - this is a tired hotel in a tired area of Tallahassee, but would appeal to those passing through who have pets.
Room - Spacious but dated. Bathroom was really old and not sure it was cleaned very well before coming in - Urine on/around the toilet, hairs in the bath tub.
Beds - Really soft - the type you sink into. Usually indicative of an old mattress. Fresh linens and pillows so that was good.
Breakfast - Free breakfast - average for an LQ - hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, etc. Again - for $50 a night what do expect.
Pool - not bad - could use some trees or plants to spruce it up, but all in all a nice pool. Too many bugs in it though.
Surroundings - this hotel makes you think your car would not be safe there. Mine was, and I would be smart about what you left in the car. A run down Shoneys and Julias restaurants are out of business and a hotel across the street is out of business. There is a Super 8 next door. Its right off I-10 so for convenience if traveling that is nice - If I was vacationing or on business - I'd look elsewhere.
Pets - the best thing of LQ is there pet policy - lots of travelers with dogs spotted here at this hotel.
No gym.
