"Not worth the price"

So the hotel itself wasn't bad, but the rooms are outdated. The available outlets to plug in electronics were very limited and inconveniently placed. The staff at the hotel were rude, and could definitely use some education about customer service. When checking out, I hope you don't have any questions! I was just handed my receipt and walked away from. I stood behind the associate for some time while another associate sat there and watched me wait. With the outdated building, room set up for little or no electronics, and rude associates, this hotel was not worth the price!!
Great value! Front desk personel were very welcoming. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I slept like a baby. Free internet access. Continental breakfast with something for everyone. Easy access to major highways and close to shopping and eating. I will be staying again!
I had a very early surgery scheduled at a nearby hospital in March 2013. Because we live over 2 hours from Denver, we decided to book a room for the night before. I found this La Quinta to be close to the hospital & affordable. I made a reservation online specifically requesting a "smoking room". Upon arrival, we were informed that there were only 4 smoking rooms, & none available that night. When I told the desk clerk that I specifically reserved a smoking room online, she informed me that I "should have called to make the reservation". I asked why that would make a difference & told her that I saw nothing on the reservation site stating that specific requests may not be available. Her response was, "Well, you have 2 more hours to cancel before being charged if you want to go around & see if you can find somewhere else to stay." Seriously?! I am not familiar with the area, was already stressed about my upcoming surgery, & was in no condition to go driving around trying to find another place to stay. We decided to go ahead & stay, but I did request the manager's telephone number. She handed me a card, which turned out to have her name on it. I would think that she would have identified herself as the manager & possibly attempted to assist with our problem. Instead it was more a "tough cookies" response. She was quite rude & absolutely indifferent to our situation. Also, the area is not very well kept & does not feel safe. The room could have been much cleaner, it was very noisy from neighboring guests (upstairs & next door) & the parking lot right outside the door. Also, the "drapes" did not keep out the glow from the streetlights, making it very difficult to sleep. I would STRONGLY suggest staying at a different hotel if you are ever in the area & need a place to stay
I've stayed at this hotel twice and found the rooms comfortable and clean. The front desk people are friendly and courteous. A nice variety of breakfast items were offered. This hotel is a good value. I would definitely choose this hotel again.
Stay here if you are in the area. The value is good. We were traveling through the great state of Colorado and stayed at a Hampton Inn the night previous. There was nothing at the Hampton that wasn't here. The rooms are clean and pillows comfy - which is a must for me. The breakfast is good and the service staff is always busy making you comfortable. The only bad thing is the service trucks coming in through the night starting about 3:30 am. They empty the dumpster trash in the neighborhood and deliveries come in to the restaurant next door early in the morning. Overall - a good value and a good La Quinta hotel.
