I was not pleased with this LaQuinta location...will not stay there again. This location needs a major renovation. Refrigerator did not work and the temperature of the shower was super hot...I am so glad we were not traveling with small children this trip.
A place of comfort and solidarity is hard to come by. I've never really been at full comfort staying anywhere, there's always that noisy kid upstairs running around. Theres the arguing couple in the halls, or the loud neighbor coming back from an evening of partying. What every hotel room across the nation needs is sound proof walls. I'd be happy with that.
I will never stay at this location again!! The price was way too high for the quality of the room!! Stains on the sheets and blankets, air conditioner not working properly and was sweating trying to get dressed in the morning!! The tub was dirty and even after cleaning it, it still looked dirty! Paint on top of a tub that needs to be replaced is a NO GO!! The fixtures to turn on the water were so old and nasty looking!! Not to mention the bases of the floor looked dirty and needed cleaning and if not just ripped out and replaced!! Horrible experience & to think I signed up for the rewards program!?!? If this is what La Quinta is renting out....I'M OUT!!!
got a great deal on a family room with a spare room. Floors were dirty. Carpets had not been vacuumed. Restroom smelled like urine. Worse part was when the kids found a men's deoderant and boxers in the spare room. Told front desk about it upon check out but nothing was done about it other than a note left for the head of house keeping. Decided to stay another night in San Antonio so we went back hours later, asked for the same room (figured, it will be cleaned after I told the front desk about it). The floors still had some tiny papers under the restroom counter area that we had left behind that morning. Also, its next to the freeway so it was really noisy. Room door scraped against the frame really loudly upon closing and opening
When my mother died this year I stayed at the La Quinta for five days. I had a very good experience. Later my husband went with me for 3 days. I was met at the door with a big smile and welcomed me by my first name. I was told she remembered me from previous visits. My phone had gone down while traveling to San Antonio. and I had forgotten to take my plug-in. She said, "No problem" and plugged it in for me. The room was near the office and it was exactly what I expected. Upon leaving she had my bill made out so as to help me save time.
