This is our first stay at this facility, although we regularly use this hotel chain. We found the welcome to be first rate and the cleanliness and quality of the hotel and friendliness of the staff to be top notch. We haven't had breakfast here yet, but look forward to the same quality extended there. The swimming pool is right outside our suite's window with a view that also includes a lush green lawn and trees...very nice! The internet has an extra level of security, which is much appreciated when having Wi-Fi. Everything about this hotel says: WE CARE!
We stayed here for one night with our two small dogs while passing thru the area. Our room was very clean - floor, bath area & bed linens. It was also very quiet. It is seldom we find lodging that accepts dogs that is clean & quiet - this was a rare & welcome exception.
The room were nice and big.
The staff acted like anything you asked them for was a horrible inconvenience.
The location was okay, if you felt like driving everywhere. Apparently, the City of Pearl has never heard of sidewalks, so every attempt to walk anywhere was a near suicidal endeavor.
Overall the hotel was okay. The hallway smelled like smoke, but our room did not. It was easy access to I20, but seemed a bit overpriced for what we got. $100 a night seemed a bit much. It was more of a $80 night room. However, I would stay again if I needed a spot in MS.
The hotel is located near dining facilities for dinner and lunch. For breakfast you need only travel down the hall way for and excellent assortment of goodies and beverages. The staff was very friendly and and always asking how things were going. If you are going to Jackson and need a nice place to stay but do not want to break the bank...make this your selection.
