A La Quinta traveler |
I wish we would have done a little more checking before reserving this room. It was filthy. The carpet was very dirty - food and wrappers on the floor and a soda can behind the commode. When you turned the water on in the sink, it smelled terrible. I hope that the cleaning person does a much more thorough job of cleaning for the next person than it was done for us. We will not stay here again.
Rooms are clean and have been refurbished in the last couple of years. Location is good for business. But there are no real amenities. Office is small. No business center. Breakfast is almost non-existent in a very small area. Thank goodness Starbucks is 5 minutes away!
Everyone was great and we look forward to seeing everyone again in August.
We appreciate that we receive our checkin treats and the attendant was friendly and helpful.
We stay with this location a couple of times a year.

There are 2 La Quinta's in Midland...I thought I was booking off of loop 250 and ended up here on Wall Street. Bugs galore!!! Bites galore! Silver fish bugs running around the bathroom like crazy. My trash can was full of the previous guests trash and beer cans. The carpet had not been swept in years...looks like someone ran the vacumn thru the middle and that was it. I had to replace my own toilet paper roll. Cofffee? Sure but did you want the tray to put it in or cream or sugar? Bring your own cups because this room didnt have it. I stayed 4 nights and never got clean sheets. Dont count on breakfast unless you want coffee with NO CREAM for 4 days, a waffle or old toast. This place is a train wreck and its still $170/night....!
The room is dirty- the carpet has trash, dust and dirt up against the walls. It needs a good cleaning! The bottom of the bath tub is coated in something that will easily scrape off. It appears that no one, maids or management cares about this hotel. La Quinta should be ashamed to offer rooms that look like this one. I am very disappointed.
