We stayed in Great Falls during a long road trip visiting the national parks in the area. We found the La Quinta Inn in Great Falls to be clean and comfortable with friendly staff. We weren't there long enough to comment on the surroundings but it was a great place for a night on the road.
Great staff, kind and helpful. Everything was great. Beautiful river side room. Only compliant might be the noise from the train in the night. We had to close the window, but then the air condition was a bit stinky. The woman running the breakfast room was super, just wish there would have been some healthier choices of food. Clean, nice rooms. Will stay there again when we go to Great Falls again.

Came into Great Falls looking for just a hotel and this one came up on our GPS as a Waterfront, so we went there and were not disappointed. We got a room on the top floor facing the river, views were great and it is pretty close to everything. Staff was very friendly, bed was comfortable, room was big, nothing to complain about at all. Only reason I don't give it a 5 star rating is that i'm not sure if it had room service or not, if it does then 5 star no problem. Lets face it, Great Falls is not Las Vegas but if your going there this is a fantastic hotel.
I planned two nights at the Great Falls, Mt, location, on both ends of a trip. Unfortunately I missed my flight and had to extend my stay by 2 more nights. The staff were wonderful and gave me a better rate for the last two nights.
My only wish was for more of a desk in the room. The round table was nice but not very useful for work.
I definitely recommend this location. It is less than 10 minutes from the airport and next to the Missouri River, so nice and quiet.
