I was hoping to enjoy my stay after driving in from California,but arrived at 1:00 pm and was told,No rooms ready,come back at 3:00 pm(our check-in time).This is the first time in 60 years I could not check-in upon arrival.I was told There was a late check-out and my room was not ready,but they would put it first on a list.I came back at 2:50pm and heard the lady in line infront of me being told her room was not ready either.I had an oil change and a bight to eat ,and was REALY ready to rest.(It was 87 degrees outside so I waited with my poor pet in the car with the engine on )My room was still not ready! I finally got in around 3:10.
I ran a bath and found a large wad of hair in the tub.All else went well,better luck next time.
Also the room did not get dark at night....
Stopped by here unexpectedly when I was too weary to drive any further. Super choice. Glad to see Trip Advisor's 4+ rating on the wall at check in . Thought that was a good sign since I didn't look it up before. Wonderful, friendly, professional check clerk. Great place to bring pets since I had a dog. Room was very clean and up to date. Breakfast was good too. I am definitely staying lhere again and would recommend this to anyone..
Although its about 6 miles from the strip. Its a Great place to stay. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfeast had Scrambled eggs, Link sausage, Sausage gravy and biscuts. Very good start to the day.

In the lobby they have Ice water, apple's and bannana's for snacking all day. Nice touch
iT WAS A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE. rosalie was a joy and so was everyone at the hotel. The breakfast was 4 star and our room is very clean and perfect. Our dog was more than welcome and he enjoyed himself also. We were at the Hampton Inn but we had bad experience. and move here to La Quinta Nellis and such a geat place to stay. May not a brand new hotel but "oh boy" such great staff and great hotel.
We have 2 small dogs so it's always iffy what kind of room we will get. We walked into our room and it smelt fresh and was very clean. This is the second time we've stayed at a La Quinta Inn and were pleased both times. Great breakfast. Will stop here every year on our way home from Arizona.
