A La Quinta traveler |
I arrived late at night and was very tired from traveling all day. I was greeted at the front desk by a woman who who made my check in a breeze. The rooms were very clean and fresh smelling. The hotel was very quiet and in a great location. Plenty of parking and conveniently located next to a Wal Mart Supercenter for travelling supplies. Great experience I would recommend this La Quinta to anyone. I would like to thank the staff for a great stay.
My husband and I stayed at this La Quinta to visit the Farmer's Market and the old town Mesilla shops.. The hotel was priced right, all the accommodations were honored and the bed was perfect with all cotton linens! No polyester bedspreads here! The firmness of the bed made the best night's sleep ever. Best La Quinta we have ever stayed at. 5 stars!
WE stayed in this hotel for one nite on our way home from Phoenix. The hotel is fairly new and the rooms are large and roomy. The beds are somewhat firm but comfortable. The buffet breakfast is about the same as most hotels in that class. The hotel is located next to a Walmart and Cracker Barrel restaurant. The hotel is located a short distance from Old Town Messila which has some great restaurants and gift shops. The Old Town Messila was a major stop for people traveling from San Antonio to California. We have stayed in this hotel before and have never had a bad stay.
There are two La Quinta hotels and they are located about 3 blocks away from each other so make sure you go the one next to the Walmart. The other La Quinta is abit older.
We drive from Austin to Scottsdale as often as possible to see our Grandson (and his parents). We have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past year. This has become our preferred hotel because of its location and price for a clean, safe night's stay. If you shop around you can find great deals on this hotel in less busy times. We have paid as little as $50 (2 queen beds) up to $75 (king bed).
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. Unless you want cereal, boiled eggs or yogurt for breakfast, I would go to Cracker Barrel next to the hotel or McDonald's across the street for Breakfast.
Hotel was decent, but the beds are really uncomfortable, which pretty much overshadows any good things about the hotel. You can feel each spring in your back, bed was thin and hard. Very nice lady checked us in, breakfast area was fine. They had wi-fi but it kept going in and out.
