We stayed here on our way to our cruise. The room although a bit older was very clean and the staff was very courteous. The value was exceptional. The Hotel provided us a free transit to the airport and back and able to park our car there for free while we were on our cruise.
Always stay at the La Quinta as they are clean, and pet friendly. Haven't found a bad one yet. I had left my camera there and they had it ready for me to pick up when i got back to take my flight out of Raleigh.
Front-desk staff was friendly and accommodating when I checked in around 7:30 pm. However, room did not meet expectations.
When I checked out a day ahead of schedule this morning, I handed the front-desk clerk a list of eight deficiencies. I was disappointed not to receive an apology. She only said, "Did you report these when you checked in?" I had not, because I doubted they had staff available to answer all the deficiencies at that hour, and I did not discover all of them immediately upon check-in. My list of deficiencies included
1) Dried blood on the wall beside the toilet and several scuff marks on the walls of the bathroom and room (try using a "Mr. Clean Scrubbing Sponge to remove scuff marks).
2) Bathtub that did not drain properly. I had to prop a bar of soap under the drain to ensure the bathtub drained all the way. It made terrible noises, otherwise.
3) Hem was out in sheer curtains on window. Also, curtains were not properly attached to rod. So depressing.
4) Deadbolt lock did not work. Although front-desk clerk argued with me about this at check-out, I know deadbolt did not operate properly...even when door was open...in Room 434. I'm staying at the La Quinta Crabtree in Raleigh tonight, and their deadbolts work as expected.
5) Refrigerator was dead. It was hot inside.
6) No ashtrays in my "smoking room." Front-desk clerk was nice enough to bring me her one and only ashtray.

The hotel offered a shuttle , available computers with printers, breakfast and a staff that went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and appreciated. I rate this hotel on a scale from 1-10 a solid 10,000
Impressively CLEAN bathrooms, Staff is genuinely helpful and friendly. Very convenient location. All in all well worth rhe money, which was a very good value. Breakfaat was very nice. .......................
