"Great staff"

We stay at this hotel often 3 staff members I would like to acknowledge for there great customer service, SiSi, Sami, and Jamiko they make us feel at home when we stay there can not say enough good things about these 3 ladies
I was skeptical about coming there cause friends who lived there said it was in the hood and online reviews were bad. Well when I got there I was quite happy. Parking was not too bad. A red Lobster right next door was handy. Staff was super nice. Housekeeping were like ninjas waiting for the chance to clean your room while you are out. Now I like to sleep till 1pm then get dress to go out whenever I returned I noticed they came in and tidied up the room. The breakfast was actually good. They had some of the best waffles I ever ate. The juice I had apple juice was not too sweet n far from sour. Towels were a plenty and never a problem for more. The bed was no lie literally the best comfy bed I ever been on in a hotel. The pillows would make me over sleep every morning. I thought about stealing the pillows home with me but I couldn't get the mattress in my suitcase so it was pointless. I pulled the sheets back to look at the mattress but decided not to go further so as not to ruin my fantasy. I wished I could stay longer but time was up. I will always try to book La Quinta if possible. We had a room wit 2 double beds. The room was not big but that's okay cause we weren't planning on throwing parties. It accommodated me and my 3 teens nicely.
At first glance the room seemed nice, here are the problems I had
1. I booked a non smoking & got a smoking room and boy did it stink. Had to burn some incense to get rid of the smell.
2. The desk chair had some serious stains on it, needless to say I did not sit in it.
3. When we turned down the bedding there was a used tissue under the covers.
I won't be staying at this lq again.
The staff has been very pleasant and helpful. It's not far from Atlanta and sits in a nice area near the highway. Easily accessed. Rooms are older and need some remodeling, but the staff makes up the difference. Breakfast is the normal waffles, cereal and pastries. I would stay again.
This hotel is very run down, needs updating terribly. Our room had two double beds (I didn't even know those things still existed), the mattresses were lumpy, the bedding was soiled. The carpet was wet in our room from the door until about halfway through the room. When we checked in, it was very crowded and only one person was working the front desk. We were given keys to a room, but when we got there, it hadn't been cleaned yet. We were given another room, which we were told was the last as they were full. We went to visit friends, and when we returned, the window to our room was open. We were on the ground level, front of the building. Obviously, someone had been in our room and opened it. We tried to lock the window, but there was no lock on it. Needless to say, we were very uneasy at this point about staying at this hotel. Breakfast was very minimal, very crowded, small space, and lots of people. To top it all off, when we got to our car (my new car, I might add) someone had hit our car during the night and left. We are now in the process of getting our car fixed. We will NEVER stay at La Quinta again!
