A La Quinta traveler |
My wife and I had our apprehensions about this hotel when we first pulled into the parking lot. It's not a bad part of town, but it's near a fast food restaurant and a strip mall, and the lot itself leaves a little to be desired. But upon first walking into the lobby--and for every moment we spent in the building afterward--we experienced the most friendly and attentive service we've seen in a hotel. Every staff member had a smile on their face and was genuinely warm and helpful to us. We found the room itself to be clean and well-furnished. There was very little noise that we could detect from the rooms around us. Highway 45 is just a couple blocks away, so it was quite easy to get anywhere in Milwaukee in very little time. For the price we paid, this was far and away the best value for a hotel I've ever come across.

La Quinta Inn Milwaukee Northwest, Milwaukee, Wisconsin Never again at this location.
Depressed, dirty, staff was slow and didn't care.
Carpets were filthy.
Allot of bag people walking around area.
Not a nice place to stay.
I have stayed at LaQuinta's in the past, without any difficulties. However, we stayed at this one last weekend and will not be returning. We had a knock at the door on Sunday morning by a police officer stating someone was allegedly robbed that morning on the floor above us and wanted to know if we heard anything. The breakfast wasn't anything appealing and there were several kids almost cleaning out the breakfast bar to take food up to their rooms.
On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. It was also very reasonably priced.
I have stayed at this LaQuina often. It is well located where I'm going and not to expensive. The rooms are clean and staff very friendly and helpful. They have a nice breakfast bar but if you want something nicer there is a good family restaurant 1 minute away that is also inexpensive. I fully recommend this LaQuina Inn.
We will be back! The location is perfect for many of the places to visit in Milwaukee. Very clean and good atmosphere. This was our second stay here and probably not our last.
The breakfast is amazing with a large variety of choices. We stayed our first trio for business and were impressed. When we made our plans for an over night trip again it was our first and only chioce. We enjoyed our stay. Keep up the good work!
