We stayed here overnight on a recent trip. We had planned on staying at the La Quinta in Tucumcari, NM but in traveling through the town there were not many choices in restaurants. Santa Rosa appears to be a bit more lively than Tucumcari and had several good choices for restaurants. I was impressed with the breakfast offered by the motel. They had omelets, sausage, fruit etc. they offered two locations to get coffee. They even had snack mix and fresh fruit upon checking in. The only negatives were that our carpet was wet and there was not good area to walk a small pet. The area in front of the motel was without grass (typical southwest) and it did not appear that other guests had picked up after their pets. The carpet in our room was recently cleaned and was very wet in one area. Upon hearing of the wet carpet, they did offer us a different room but we choose to stick it out because we were tired and had unpacked for the night. I would stay there again.

Stppoed here on a cross country trip. Parking was limited for a mooving truck and trailer, The room was clean and about what you would anticipate for a mid-level hotel. The staff was friendly, About the only place near by that was avilabe to eat was a McDonalds and cold beer at the gas station across the street.

Our room was clean and the beds were great. The hotel was being remodeled. It needed it. We were given one of the partially remodeled rooms. Staff was friendly. Only real negative was the lack of an elevator.

The people at the desk were happy to see us! That is very nice after driving all day. The rooms are big and best of all refrigtors. Its been raining off and on all day. So its cold and windy outside. The view is the best part! Wow we

My wife and I generally seek out LaQuintas when we travel as they are generally acceptably clean and comfortable, not overpriced, and most importantly, they accept our two cockers without an extra pet fee. We have encountered a couple of barely tolerable locations in South Carolina due to cleanliness issues, so we now always check reviews on Travel Advisor before booking a reservation. This particular LaQuinta is among the nicest we have utilized. Very clean and up-to-date, nice southwestern decor, comfortable bedding as always at LaQuintas, and a full breakfast to boot instead of the usual cold boiled eggs and bagels. Highly recommended.
