At first the room had a funny smell (it subsided), but overall, it was clean. Beds were comfortable and the staff were both friendly and helpful. We were able to get pizza delivered directly to our room from a place down the street, which was very convenient for us! Breakfast the next day was included and very good.

This motel is the prototype of the La Quinta. The reception is very welcoming and accommodating. We had a nice quiet sleep, considering the amount of guests here last night. The breakfast was nice with many options available.

"Clean and comfy!"

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable despite the sheet and mattress pad coming off every time I moved. Had a problem at check in with my reservation. Apparently a mis communication between hotels.com and hotel led to my reservation being lost even with a confirmation number. The hotel had rooms but I ended up spending more on the room. Staff was friendly.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was super clean and the bed was wonderful. One of the best nights of sleep ive had in years. The breakfast was so delicious. They had coffee and lemon water available at all times. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Probably the best available"

Decided to stay here while we were in town for some SCUBA fun down at the Blue Hole. Although our room was 'no smoking', there was most definitely the lingering cigarette smell in the room. Nice roomy bedroom/lounge area, super comfortable bed, and a nice view of..well, nothing in particular but pleasant anyway...little fridge and microwave, coffee maker, flatscreen TV. Small, cramped bathroom. Overall, the entire town of Santa Rosa doesn't have much going on, you can't even get a drink anywhere, there is no where to walk to, etc. BUT, if you're in town for the Blue Hole, you might as well stay at the La Quinta. The front desk staff weren't all that helpful, the pool area was dirty and stunk something fierce, and from what I could tell the cleaning crew brought their kids in to assist with the housekeeping. All things considered, we did have a good time here...just make sure that you have reasonable expectations and enjoy the 'off the beaten path' of semi-rural New Mexico.
