A La Quinta traveler |
This hotel is a hidden gem tucked back off of the main road. There was a large group of rather noisy people staying the night, but the room itself was surprisingly quiet so I had no idea they were there until I saw them downstairs in the morning. Also, we checked in somewhat late in the evening (9:30), and had no problem. The desk clerk was one of the best, most efficient hotel employees I've ever seen -- the entire check-in process took less than 60 seconds! The room wasn't particularly fancy, but it had all of the essentials. It was also very clean, no weird smells, no cracking paint/wallpaper, no mildew in the bathroom, etc. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable, with duvets (with clean covers) rather than ratty bedspreads.
I would definitely stay here again -- much better than even some of the "fancier" DC hotels that charge 3-4x more (yes, Mayflower Renaissance, I'm looking at you!)
Loved the hostess at this hotel. Remembered my name after only seeing him at one previous stay. Always has a wonderful smile! Loved it! Was able to travel with my pet which ment the world also! My daughter moved to Maryland, so now this will be our new home away from home. Thank you. Great job!
Nice hotel in a good area off I 95. The only issue was my room (213) was right next to the elevator. Convenient, yes. Noisy, yes. You hear the elevator every time someone uses it. The bed was very good, water pressure fine and breakfast was even descent. All things considered, I'd stay here again, but I would request a different room.
This was my first stay at La Quinta, and I will seek them out for my next stay when I travel they are a Jewel hidden in plain sight. Location perfect, Service is first class, value is great and the rooms are clean.

Definately not a 3 star hotel, 2 star at best. Elevators, common areas, and room reeked of smoke. We requested a non smoking room with our reservation and was told that there weren't any available.
