Mainly chose this hotel because we needed pet friendly. La Quinta is always pet friendly. There were many dogs at the hotel, but no annoyances were noted. Our dog rarely barks and is very friendly as were all the other dogs we ran into. It always amazes how La Quinta can be so dog friendly yet there is never a smell of animals around. I wish the same could be said for hotels that allow smoking.
The breakfast was basic waffles, eggs breads but no meats were offered. The bed was one of the most comfortable and pillows were just right. Security was great with all but the lobby entrance requiring key entry. We were near the back entry but because of the building design, we didn't hear any noises from the door.
Hotel ideally located, room was clean, staff was very friendly, courteous, helpful and service was great. The morning breakfast that was provided was very good and healthful. Also, the lady making waffles was the best waffle maker I have met, and very friendly. Would stay here again when in the area.....
Great hotel with a very friendly, efficient staff. Very clean and, most importantly, dog friendly! Will definitely stay here again in the future. The staff is well-trained and the facility is incredibly clean -- the pool area, the landscaping, the lobby and guest rooms, even the elevators are amazingly clean considering it's in a high traffic location within walking/short driving distance of the oceanfront. The hotel has a wonderful (and clean!) area for dog walking.
Ms Hattie was amazing! She went out of her way to accommodate our needs for a room near a door! She even made sure we were able to get an early check-in! We will definitely stay in this hotel if we are ever in the area again!
Clean And Friendly. I spent three days there and the staff was very friendly. I stayed at the Sheraton conference center before that, and I found the staff a lot friendlier and caring at the La Quinta. I enjoyed the breakfast, the girl that kept the area clean also helped me get my grandson his breakfast. It was a dog friendly hotel, though you couldn't tell because the grounds were kept clean. The staff there were the best. I was treated like royalty, without the price. This location is close to all the dinner theaters, as well as Broadway at the Beach, maybe 5 minutes, which is great no traffic issues.
