A La Quinta traveler |
I stayed here for one night a week ago and I have never been so content with the room and staff. I got the king bed suite with a living room and it was so spacious, clean. And nice. The staff checked me in in less than 3 minutes. It was insane. Definitely a great place to stay.
This was a nice location as it is located off the busy highways that surround it. In fact, the area is picturesque and each room must have a decent view. The room itself was nice, big and clean. However, there were a few concerns. The microwave was filthy upon opening it.and the coffeemaker was broken. If the room maid did not notice those things, then I wondered what else was overlooked when cleaning. It also didn't help that we also experienced noisy neighbors at 3 in the morning. However, breakfast was wonderful and served in a nice setting. So considering what we paid, I felt that for the area it was a very good choice.
We have now stayed at this LaQuinta on 3 occasions. It is on our return list when we travel to visit family in AL or to FL for a winter vacation. A great, comfortable place to stay and small dogs feel quite welcome! It is about time hotels give consideration to the multitudes of us who travel with our pets. We can now plan a road trip out West going from one pet-friendly LaQuinta to the next and stay in top quality rooms instead of the dingy hotels which frequently are the only ones that will accept pets. Beautiful, clean, and upbeat with ample outdoor clean green space for dogs.
I continue to return to this hotel. The personal service that I have received as exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it. This hotel has several nice restaurants in close proximity and they will shuttle you to the lovely downtown and pick you up - downtown is very close to this hotel. The rooms are very nice and always clean. The best part is the staff. All of them are so nice!
We could tell upon entering the lobby that the hotel was well managed. Then, when we got settled in our room, the front desk called to make sure everything was ok. Great service! The condition of this hotel, the friendliness of the staff, and the obvious efficiency all around make this place a well run hotel. Wish we had planned on staying longer! Some of the other La Quintas need to learn a few things from this place! We also had our dog, and it was so nice to have a clean room in wonderful condition. We also had left our cooler bag inside the refrigerator, and the staff took time to rescue it for us. We'll stay there again for sure if we are in Greenville!
