I stayed here four nights and everything was great. In addition to the service and the quality of the rooms, I really enjoyed the location-close to everything including the freeway, but free of any noise from traffic. In the morning I would ask the front desk person for directions to the attractions I was visiting that day and he/she would google the addresses and give me printed directions and a map. Breakfast was above average and the area was always spotless. The price was very reasonable. Many restaurants in the area. Bed was very comfortable and good selection of tv channels. Internet was free and hassle free. I would highly recommend this property.
This property is an older La Quinta whose rooms have not yet been upgraded, as most other properties in the chain have. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were good and I felt safe staying there. The TV in my room was old and it's picture was so out of adjustment that watching it was a challenge. While this property is, generally speaking, not as nice as other properties in the chain, it was acceptable for the price I paid. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. I did not eat the continental breakfast. I would stay here again.
It was a great experience at La Quina Inn hotel. I went to McAllen on shopping and the hotel's locaten helped me to plan my transportation routes more easily and efficiently.
I highly recommend this hotel.

All good and all right....Denny's next door and Mariscos across the street....The parking is free and lit and clean. the Taxi service is also very quick and inexpensive...pretty good deal for the rate...Thx again
I've stayed here a dozen or so nights in the last 5 months. I like that it's always clean, but really appreciate the friendly and accomodating staff. It's not just those working the front desk, but everyone. They've been very flexible when there are changes in my schedule, and just seem glad to help. That makes all the difference. The pool always looks inviting even in the winter. The hotel is also next to several restaurants and an HEB which has made life pretty convenient when I'm here.
