"Nice Hotel, Noisy Street, Great for Dogs"
3 of 5 stars Reviewed Sep 18, 2014

Stayed at this hotel for a dog show. This hotel is located off of a side street from the main strip. You may have to put in the address for the gps. It is not near the main strip, but is next to the interstate. The noise from the street was loud enough that we had to have the ac on to drown out the noise. The lights in the hallway were bright enough that we had to have a towel to put at the base of the door in order to block out the light, and shadows from ppl walking by. It was a good room, and the single bed with pillows were a dream to sleep on. Very comfy after a long day. It was an added bonus that when the tv turned on there was an option to have waves, rainforest, and other sounds on, instead of watching the tv. Love the pool and jacuzi option, just wish I had more time to use the facility.I had a muffin from the breakfast area, but could not stay to eat due to the show, but the muffins were great. Had an issue with dogs being allowed in the breakfast area. I did not see any signs, nor did any employees say anything to me during check in, while in the lobby, or the whole time while in the hotel. I was just passing through grabbing an item for an on-the-go breakfast and other " guests" were telling me to get out. If there was a problem I would have preferred an employee to kindly let me know. Not have another guest yell at me as they are leaving outside, which is just rude. I know dogs are generally not allowed near food areas, but having a sign out, or even having an employee just confirm the situation would have been nice. I was left confused and unsure at this particular instance. Overall the stay was nice and perfect after being on the road and show all day.Cracker Barrel being next day was an added bonus.

"Great Experience"

I have to say, your service went beyond other reviews I had read prior to our trip. I had requested an accessible room and though it was small, my husband (who uses a wheelchair) was easily able to maneuver around the room. The young lady was wonderful at check in and gave us several suggestions and directions for activities we wanted to do. She even was able to help us find our way downtown to a concert. Natoya was wonderful!!! The room and facility was very clean. We will definitely stay again when we return to the Nashville area!

"Just Fine"

Room and hotel clean, nearby restaurants, and close to the dog show we were attending. Close enough to downtown Franklin restaurants, shops and attractions. "Standard" waffle breakfast which has gotten old since it's the "standard" at many hotels. Cracker Barrel and fast food restaurants close by.

"Needs serious cleaning/maintenance"
2 of 5 stars Reviewed Sep 13, 2014

I do not mind in the least staying at an older hotel as long as it is well-maintained. But the floor of the room was so dirty, the furniture the TV was on was covered in dust and the toilet was dirty. The hallway leading to my room was filthy as was the elevator. The room itself needs maintenance on the walls and ceiling. Part of the ceiling was peeling and landed on the floor by me while I was blow drying my hair. I've never had issues like this at ANY hotel I have ever stayed at. In addition, I was reminded to take my small dog to the end of the hotel for bathroom purposes. I have no problem doing this, however, there was absolutely no lighting in that area and was completely dark. Very dangerous!!

"Not the worst hotel!!!"
3 of 5 stars Reviewed Sep 9, 2014

The cost was a bit high considering the smell of the room and that I was the only one staying. There was also no refrigerator in the room. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was okay, not great, just okay. There was a pool and hot tub that was not to bad. The pool was a little to cold and the hot tub had a few jets that needed some work. All in all it is not the worst place I have ever stayed. I would say it was mediocre.
