We regularly stay here and over the past few years the hotel was starting to look shabby. But they have recently renovated the rooms, redone in a fresh, upbeat way. Nice changes to some public areas too. Breakfast is predictable. Was surprised to see only one employee working in the whole building in the evening. Not very reassuring when she left the desk and didn't return for a while, tending to a guest. Definitely worth another stay.

This was an average motel experience which is fine for what we needed, which was just a place to spend the night. I think it was priced a bit high, but we didn't do any price checking in the area. The breakfast was good. I've included pictures of the room with this review.

We recently had to stay in the Mansfield area for a funeral. We made last minute reservations at La Quinta primarily because of their pet policy and cost. This was one of the best travel decisions we have made. From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff was awesome, especially Carey, Judy and Karen. They responded very quickly to every request we had. Also, we found it necessary to get three additional rooms for family mambers at the very last minute, and had multiple changes to what we needed. These wonderful ladies helped us patiently and professionally, and were able to get rooms in close proximity to each other for us with very little notice. We turely felt like we got better service than at many of the five star hotels we have stayed at in the past. The hotel is very conveintly located just off the interstate with multiple resturants and even a Walmart within easy walking distance. While many hotels advertise that they are "Pet Friendly", La Quinta truely is. Amy the housekeeping manager was able to work with us to schedule room cleaning when it was convenient for us to be out of the room with our two large dogs. The entire staff was turely pet friendly and made us feel welcome. In the past we have paid very high "pet fees" at other hotels and been treated like we really shouldn't be there, this was definitly not the case at La Quinta, Mansfield. The staff was actually happy to see our dogs. A wonderful experience. If we ever need to be in the Mansfield area, there is no doubt we will stay at the La Quinta.

I never really got into the La Quinta locations, however, this one was situated near a place we were doing a over night ghost hunt at. The staff was very helpful, and even let us check out late, knowing we were out all night! Was a great breakfast too! I'd go back! I will go back!

It's a very good hotel for the price - one of the least expensive in the area for business travel, without downgrading to an itinerant motel. I found this to be an ideal location for several days of meetings in Akron, Canton, Columbus and elsewhere in northeast Ohio since it's right on the highway. Rooms are spacious, clean and offer all the standard amenities plus free wifi. Breakfast is included in the cost and offers a nice variety of items - fresh fruit, cereals, baked goods, a waffle station, juice and yogurt. It's pet-rriendly so I was concerned about cleanliness but the place was very clean and no pet or other stale odors at all.
