This Laquinta was a disappointment. The hotel is dirty and you can see this right away as the glass doors at the entrance have not even been cleaned. Rolly polly bugs all over back door. Stayed 2 nights the halls were never vacuumed. The door to the hotel room had a big stain on it never wiped off, the bath fan was coated in thick dust, walls needed cleaning-painting, carpet was stained, burned from iron. Toliet seat broken, The beds were not flat. Breakfast was not what most Laquintas serve. They did have waffles but ran out of syrup, also ran out of apple juice and yogurt. Also walls were paper thin. It is close to kings island which is the one good thing about the hotel.
Receptionist was very welcoming, lobby and room were clean, rooms had good lighting but the complimentary breakfast was a total disaster. The trash cans were overflowing with trash piled on their tops. The milk for cereal and the syrup containers were empty as was the decaf coffee dispenser. There were no napkins available and eating utensils were located in three different areas. Tables were not cleaned off. We left hungry and very disappointed. You'd think with 45 minutes left to eat there would've been someone refreshing the breakfast area and at least making sure the area was clean.
2 1/2 months ago I reserved an executive King Suite for my family's vacation. we stay at this facility every year and had never experienced any problems until this visit. when it was time for bed, I noticed the sofa sleeper was broken and the mattress was hanging on the floor. I also noticed that a lamp was missing off one of the end tables. I complained to the front desk and was told we could be moved to an executive king suite in the smoking area. this would've been good however I'm not a smoker and do not appreciate my asthmatic children and I inhaling 2nd hand smoke. the only rm available was a double bed which I felt I had to accept so all of us could have somewhere to sleep. these beds were smaller, there was no microwave, refrigerator or sofa in the room, therefore all the food I purchased at the nearby Walmart was no longer good. I was so upset that I checked out early. upon checking out I advised the check out attendant Nichole that I did not have a pleasant stay only to be grilled by her with questions like 'did you tell them you needed a refrigerator"? 'did you tell them you needed a microwave"? I didn't think to ask if the hotel provided a pull in room microwaves and refrigerator, I'd like to think if you're down grading me to a smaller room and you have these amenities that I originally had in a higher priced room, good customer service would've alerted me to this. I appreciate that my stay was comp'd however that is part of the 100% satisfaction guarantee that LQ promises. I was still inconvenienced and had to cut my vacation short. the only plus side to this was that the LaQuinta in Sharonville made my few days wonderful!
We stayed at the La Quinta for 4 nights, while on our honeymoon. The hotel room was nice and clean, and the staff was pretty nice. The only downside that we had was the reason that we chose the La Quinta was for the inside pool and it was only open the night we got here and the last night of our stay.... other than that, I will more than likely come back to La Quinta in the future (:

And we stayed in a king room for 79 a night!! And it's like two miles away from King's Island!! Amazing price for the quality!!
We booked through the website and used aarp rate...$68. The great thing is my dog was free. Stayed in room 103 which is a king size bed. I notice the smell another reviewer was talking about. I think it is cleaning product cause i could smell it in the lobby. Either way it wasn't pleasant (mind you i have a very sensitive nose) but i bring my own febreze and the air conditioner cleared it up. The air conditioner is controlled from a digital thermostat on the wall. No more getting up and down all night because you are too hot/too cold. The room was clean and good sized. Single sized coffee, iron and board, hair dryer, flat screen tv with night sounds to lull you to sleep. Wish there was a refrigerator though. Nice office/ desk area in room. LAN cable and outlets on desktop. WiFi has good speed. Comfortable bed. Front desk was very friendly. Hotel is on the smaller scale. Location here is fantastic! So many restaurants, stores, and of course King's island.
Its a good clean stay for a night or two at a reasonable price.
