The hotel is very clean, as well as our room. Beds comfortable, and there was little or no noise in the hallways. The selection of food at breakfast was very good. I have stayed there before, and will stay there again.
Check- in was easy. The double bed room was clean, spacious and attractive. The beds were very comfortable. At the time of making the reservation we asked for a quiet room (away from pet friendly rooms) and were cheerfully accommodated. Breakfast was good and check- out quick. A great deal for a one night stopover on our way to Canada. The only "complaint" was that as a La Quinta Elite member I was entitled to a free room upgrade, if available, and amenities such as bottled water in the room, etc. At check-in, after showing my Elite membership card, I was neither given an upgrade or told that none existed. No amenities in the room such as the bottled water were provided either. Why ignore your highest membership level customer?
Very good hotel. But just make sure that you ask for a room where they do not book guests with pets, if you are not a pet owner (like myself). Location was superb. Champlain Mall was just behind and everything needed for shopping is nearby. Clean and quiet room.
We stayed at La Quinta specifically because we went on vacation with our dog. We were willing to sacrifice a bit in order to have him with us. However that was unnecessary - the hotel was clean and friendly, the room was clean and quiet, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was at all times courteous and friendly. We were quite pleasantly surprised at how much value we recieved for the price.
