"A Great stay with a pet."

The stay - GREAT, Katice is AWSOME!!!
My family and I were traveling to graduate school and we looked up hotels in Baton Rouge. We were on the way to Savannah from San Antonio Texas (Go Spurs Go). My mother has a small dog, and we needed a place that would cater to our little pooch "Alfalfa". As we were passing another person in the hall, he had a baby stroller and a dog food bowl - we said "we understand..." we all laughed in the elevator.
When we eat breakfast it was quite nice. We are from Texas, the taco is the main staple - but, this morning I had a waffle - with the French fleur de lee on it... I said, I must be in Louisiana!
Great stay, very very comfortable beds & happy our pooch could stay with my mom, no hassle.
from Texas - Yeahaw!
p.s. im dyslexic - which works great in the arts, but not in posts, so please excuse the "creative writing"... its actually become gold my profession!
Booked a king smoking in the morning, via the telephone. Told them we would be a late arrival, arrived at 10:00 pm and was given a double full room because they didn't hold the king room for us even though we reserved it with our credit card. The front desk offered a non smoking room but had no other smoking rooms.
This motel is located in a commercial but fairly safe section of BR. The traffic on 1-10 by the motel is incredibly slow at certain times of the day on weekdays. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Everything worked properly. If you make long-distance calls with a calling card from this motel using the room phone, dial 9 and DO NOT WAIT FOR a DIAL TONE. We wasted a lot of time to find that out!
"up to date furnishing, clean, comfortable bed & pillows"

Friendly staff, pet friendly with no extra fee, good breakfast. Clean and fresh room. A great place to stay for modest pri$e. We had a comfortable king bed and feather pillows - would stay again. Will look for LaQuinta Inn for future hotel stays. I even joined their "club" to earn points for free nights.
This is an older property, and by its look it was originally built as a Baymont. I would estimate it to be 30 to 40 years old. You can tell that things have been done to update the property. In our room, there was newer carpet, light fixtures, vanity faucet, dresser, bed table, and recliner. Beds were excellent, with clean linen. Friendly desk clerks. The refrigerator was newer and oversized for a hotel. Climate control worked well. The hotel is close to a Super Wal Mart and a Community Coffee shop. You need to know that the LaQuinta chain has become very popular with dog owners. Fortunately, the dogs were well behaved. The walls are thin, so you would not want to be next door to a barking dog. There is a small wastewater treatment facility right behind one end of the hotel, and it makes a constant noise like a refrigeration truck parked under your window. It is not terrifically loud, but it is constant, and it will probably bother some people. On the second floor, you should avoid odd numbered rooms running from 225 to 237 if this kind of noise concerns you. The third floor appeared to be the smoking floor. The coffee maker was a one cup at a time model, and only one packet of regular and one packet of decaf were supplied. I don't know why LaQuinta sticks to this stingy policy because it tends to devalue their brand. Overall we considered this hotel a good value and we will return here in future visits to Baton Rouge.
